A free math arcade, with live tutoring if you want it.
Tutorizer is the math site I created. Kids play the math games for free, and parents can add live small-group or one-on-one tutoring.
Practice that feels like play.
Math is where many students first start to fall behind, because every year builds on the last. The free part of Tutorizer is there so every child can practice in a way that feels like a game.
The math arcade
Math games from Kindergarten to Grade 8, free to play.
Daily practice and leaderboards
A little practice each day, with a leaderboard to keep it fun.
A free check-in
Fifteen questions that show where a child is, so you know what to work on before you decide anything.
Live tutoring on Zoom.
All of it follows the Ontario curriculum. I'd start with the free check-in, because I don't want to take your money if your child doesn't need it.
Toughest Topics
The hardest concepts of a grade, in a small group of three or four.
Go Further
A weekly small group for kids who are working ahead of their grade.
Homework Help
One-on-one help with the work your child has right now.
Prices and dates change, so they live on tutorizer.ca.
Why I built it.
Math is where many students first start to fall behind, because every year builds on the last. If a gap opens in Grade 4, it follows a child into Grade 5, Grade 6 and high school. I saw that in my classroom, and the pandemic made it worse. I built Tutorizer so every child can practice for free in a way that feels like play, and so families who want more help can see exactly where their child needs it.
Not sure where to start?
The free check-in takes a few minutes and shows where your child is today.
